Our customer
Terra Numerica has many important partners (CNRS, Inria and Université Côte d'Azur). It is therefore an influential player in the diffusion of digital science culture in the Alpes-Maritimes and Var regions.
its objective
To teach digital skills to a large audience and to raise awareness of the issues involved. In addition, Terra Numerica wants to encourage the public to develop their thinking around science through playful and accessible media.
the project
In June 2022, Terra Numerica will open the headquarters of the future Cité du numérique in Sophia Antipolis.
A building that regroups innovative, playful and educational tools for the diffusion of digital sciences.
In order to respond to the need to understand digital science accessible to all, Terra Numerica wants to develop educational workshops. Scientific mediation for young people, schoolchildren and the general public becomes a moment of sharing and entertainment.
our innovation
The interactive model, made in 3D printing and controlled by a touch screen, highlights innovative concepts around Smart Cities. In order to make the model and the concepts come alive, we produced the video content diffused in video mapping. Finally, we developed the software and created a playful design for the application.
The first concept realized allows to visualize how to optimize the energy consumed by a telecommunication network while maintaining its performance.

In the future, we plan, in co-creation with Terra Numerica, to develop other concepts of visualization by projection mapping such as flood simulations, traffic management or renewable energy.
